UPDATE: Queen Mother statue revealed
Today Queen Elizabeth II unveiled the new memorial to her mother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
Do you like it? I think it perfectly captures the Queen Mum’s cheerful public persona:

Dutch royal winter photocall
Members of the royal family of the Netherlands posed for photographers during a recent skiing holiday at the Austrian resort of Lech am Alberg. (Photos)
Among those present were the Dutch monarch, Queen Beatrix; her eldest son, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander, his wife, Princess Máxima, and their daughters, Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Alexia, and Princess Ariane; the Queen’s third son, Prince Constantijn, his wife, Princess Laurentien, and their children, Countess Eloise, Count Claus-Casimir, and Countess Leonore.
As you will see from the photos, everyone seemed to be having fun. (Note: There are two pages of photos, so make sure you click through to the second page.)
