Spanish royal marriage in crisis?
There are rumors in the Spanish media of problems between Spain’s Princess Cristina and her husband, Iñaki Urdangarín, Duke of Palma de Mallorca. The princess has recently made public appearances without her husband.
A former professional handball player, the duke is now a businessman and has reportedly been working in the United States for Telefonica. Spanish journalist Jaime Peñafiel
thinks the crisis is actually between Iñaki Urdangarín and the Royal House, which doesn’t like its members involved in business. “Work yes, but business no, above all when it passes the limits of discretion.”
