King of Swaziland addresses UN assembly
King Mswati III of Swaziland addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on September 25. “We are meeting as the family of nations that seeks to promote peace and co-existence amongst all nations of the world and bring hope for the future,” he said. Princess Maxima supports financial inclusion
On September 22, Princess Maxima of the Netherlands made a speech during the UN’s Millennium Development Goals Summit about financial inclusion, which she defined as “universal access, at a reasonable cost, to a range of financial services for everyone needing them, provided by a diversity of sound and sustainable institutions.”
