Sophia: Princess, Suffragette, Revolutionary by Anita Anand. Born in 1876, Sophia Duleep Singh was the daughter of Duleep Singh, exiled maharaja the kingdom of the Sikhs. Raised a genteel Englishwoman, she joined the struggles for Indian independence and female suffrage.
Eleanor of Castile: The Shadow Queen by Sara Cockerill. The wife of England’s King Edward I, Eleanor was her husband’s close adviser, ventured on Crusade, and endured captivity amid a civil war.
Wolsey: The Life of King Henry VIII’s Cardinal by John Matusiak. Biography of Thomas Wolsey, a man of contradictions and extremes whose meteoric rise was followed by a descent into desperation.
The Charmed Circle by Rebecca Gates-Coon. In late 18th-century Vienna, five aristocratic women achieved social preeminence and acclaim as close associates of Emperor Joseph II.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I would probably pick Sophia: Princess, Suffragette, Revolutionary because it looks intriguing. Which book would you choose?
