Sneak peek: June 2016 new royalty books

It’s time once again to take a sneak peek at some of next month’s new royalty books. (As always, publication dates are subject to change.)

Henry V by Teresa Cole. The life of England’s warrior king and the Battle of Agincourt.

Louis: The French Prince Who Invaded England by Catherine Hanley. In the early 13th century, a group of English barons tried to put future king Louis VIII of France on England’s throne.

Virtuous or Villainess? edited by Carey Fleiner and Elena Woodacre. The image of the royal mother in Europe from the early medieval era to the early modern era.

Thailand’s Theory of Monarchy by Patrick Jory. Examines the Theravada Buddhist foundations of Thailand’s monarchy.

To see the full list of June’s new royalty books, visit the Royalty.nu Books page on or after June 1.

If I could read only one of the books listed above, I would pick Louis by Catherine Hanley. Which book would you read?
