Daniel Westling’s parents at royal reception

Ewa and Olle Westling, Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf, Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling attended a reception at the Royal Castle in Stockholm on May 30 after the publication of the banns of marriage for Victoria and Daniel in the Royal Chapel. The royal wedding will take place on June 19.

Official Swedish royal wedding souvenirs

The Official Wedding Series of souvenirs created for the June 19 wedding of Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling has been presented at Formex, a Nordic design trade fair.

The souvenirs were approved by the Swedish Royal Court, and part of the revenues from their sales will be given to the charitable Kronprinsessparets Bröllopsstiftelse (Crown Princess Wedding Foundation). Read more about the foundation here, and learn more about the Wedding Series here.

Victoria & Daniel engaged

It has been announced that the heir to Sweden’s throne, Crown Princess Victoria, and her long-time boyfriend, Daniel Westling, will marry in the summer of 2010. Congratulations to them both!
